When I was a baby and for way longer than that, I was a thumb sucker. So when John and I had Tyler I was determined not to have him suck his thumb. My habit caused me to have a horrible overbite and end up having head gear. Not fun. However, Tyler takes after his mommy. We have tried a pacifier and it won't stay in his mouth, he keeps spitting it out. He is so happy sucking his thumb, so I just gave in. Hopefully as he grows older he will take the pacifier, I guess we will just have to keep trying. But here are some pictures to leave you with.

Teeth
I went to check on Tyler this morning because he was sniffling, come to find out he had a runny nose. While I was taking care of that he smiled at me and low and behold he is cutting teeth. His two front lower teeth are starting to bud and try to pop through his gums. My little man is growing up too quickly!

Dedication
We had Tyler dedicated at church on Sunday. He did such a good job, didn't cry at all and was cooing at Pastor Sam when he prayed for him. I am such a proud mommy of my little man. Here are a few pictures that were captured by John and Jess Davis... thanks guys!
Attached is a video of Tyler sucking on my friend Jenny's arm, it is too adorable!

Traumatic
Today was a traumatic day for me. Tyler went to the doctor to get his two month shots, which I think hurt me more than him. He did really well with them though. He would get the shot, cry for a few seconds and be done. But that short cry was enough to rip my heart out. His little lip puckered out and his face got all red. I wish I would have captured it on camera, even though he was in pain, his little puckered lip was so cute. We had a pretty good Easter. I think he is going through a growth spurt though. All he did yesterday was sleep and eat. And when he wasn't doing one of those he was crying. We finally gave him some Tylenol and that seemed to help.
